a word of welcome

Greetings and welcome to my blog! Thank you for taking time to read through my posts. Please feel free to leave your comments and thoughts. My goal for this blog is to provide a space for reflection and discussion. I hope to provide posts that will enhance discussion that can both challenge and encourage. Some posts will certainly be more substantive than others. Some may be just the beginnings of much larger research over a large period of time. I apologize in advance that I may not always respond to comments, but your thoughts, questions, and prompts are always appreciated.

Good morning Jonathan. I stumbled upon your blog from SeedBed. What attracted me to investigate is your graduation from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. My previous pastor, Jim Smith, is a graduate from the institute. He had really opened my wife and I up to the trans-formative power of church, especially through worship informed by ancient church practices. After he left our church, we have decided to move to the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. I hope to continue to glean nuggets of grounding in the Lord God through your blogs. Thanks. 🙂
